You should be able to grab an RPM from
https://build.opensuse.org/package/binaries?package=mdadm&project=Base%3ASystem&repository=openSUSE_Factory
which should fix the problem. It should turn in Factory and 12.2 in due
course.
Meanwhile...
Hi Michal, it seems that copying 64-md-raid.rules into the initrd is
a bad idea.
The mdadm mkinitrd scritps arrange that the arrays needed for boot get
assembled, so it is best to wait for the real root to be ready before doing all
the other udev-related md array management.
Would you be able to remove it from the list of files that
/lib/mkinitrd/scripts/setup-udev.sh
copies over?
Bug 752869 is a similar bug which had the same problem.
Thanks.
