If you do the following it will work. 1. remove the kweather applet from your panel. 2. edit the $HOME/.kde/share/config/weather_panelappletrc and replace the following line with the correct station id. report_location=kslc In my case I am near Salt Lake City so kslc works. 3. add kweather applet to your panel. Know weather info apears.
