finished updates to all xen pkgs
rpm -qa | grep ^xen
xen-tools-4.8.0_03-472.1.x86_64
xen-4.8.0_03-472.1.x86_64
xen-libs-4.8.0_03-472.1.x86_64
re-
mkinitrd
grub2-mkconfig
then rebooted. No guests,
xl list
Name ID Mem VCPUs State Time(s)
Domain-0 0 4096 1 r----- 37.2
manually, after boot, OTOH, works
xl create /etc/xen/vm/test.cfg
xl list
Name ID Mem VCPUs State Time(s)
Domain-0 0 4096 1 r----- 53.0
test 1 2049 1 -b---- 15.9
So suspect systemd?
Here's status on units
systemctl list-unit-files | grep -i xen
proc-xen.mount static
var-lib-xenstored.mount static
xen-dom0-modules.service disabled
xen-init-dom0.service enabled
xen-qemu-dom0-disk-backend.service enabled
xen-watchdog.service disabled
xencommons.service enabled
xenconsoled.service enabled
xendomains.service disabled
xendriverdomain.service disabled
xenstored.service enabled
Not clear what those states should be.
Anything need to be changed? Other reason for not-boot at 1st glance?
