Wolf, Dr. <ingo_a_wolf@addcom.de> 2008-09-29 09:09:18 MDT --- Created an attachment (id=242298) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=242298) s2ram failing is a software error Machine does not fail generally after reboot, only after using s2ram. Machine is desktop PC (1 year old) and is okay concerning hardware. Machine has only software difficulties after using s2ram and following reboot. My description of "Reboot" incluses in my description and refers mainly on 4-second-power-off-switch and following new power-on-switch. Normally reboot does not work because system hangs-up after using s2ram (as described above). I tried "init=/bin/bash" as I described above. To my opniion it is an error in kernel 2.26.25.16 or in openSUSE 11.0 (10.3 was even worse) or in software s2ram. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
