Has anyone experienced this on something other than a Lenovo Thinkpad?

The common thread might be the Thinkpad video driver(s) in Leap 42.2. I've been using Leap 42.2 (KDE) on an HP ProBook 4430s for a couple of months now with no issues.

The test machine where I encountered this problem was a Lenovo Thinkpad T400.
