--- Comment #7 from Wolfgang Bauer
with Plasma 5 KDE what used to be a "Task Bar" is now the "Panel"
No. Nothing has changed in this regard. What is called "Panel" now was already called Panel in KDE4 (Plasma1). It might have been called "Task Bar" in KDE3 10 years ago...
and, the "System Tray" is the Widget which contains things such as "Touchpad", "Kate Sessions", Printers" and so on - the description is "Access hidden applications minimised in the system tray".
I know what the system tray is. But I am not sure what you mean with that the system tray has a wrong icon. So you do mean the icons displayed in the system tray? Well, that *is* exactly the same as Bug#943688 then. I repeat: those icons are taken from the *desktop theme*, not the icon theme. You need to change your *desktop theme* to get different icons in the system tray. And the logout/reastart/shutdown icons in the logout_log applet and the application menu are taken from the *desktop theme* as well. (In reply to Donald Curtis from comment #6)
Despite installing oxygen5-icon-theme-scalable (326.6 MiB installed size) this issue remains.
Of course. The package oxygen5-icon-theme-scalable contains the icon theme. But those icons are taken from the *desktop* theme, as mentioned. If you think specific icons should rather be taken from the icon theme instead of the desktop theme, please report that to the KDE developers at http://bugs.kde.org/. This is not something we will (or IMHO should) change in openSUSE. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
