Here are the results of my test of kernel 4.12 without 60-hda.conf-file:
1. It seems to be as stable concerning the audio card as the 4.4.76-kernel with
60-hda.conf-file.
2. It has some strange side-effects concerning the shutdown-process, which
takes very long (> 1 minute) to reach the target shut-down.
3. It has some strange side-effects concerning the starting of some apps like
the ibm notes client, which can last up to several minutes.
So I stopped the testing, un-installed the 4.12-kernel and the audio is fine.
I think, we should close this bug?
