Fixed. Zypper will now report the original string when reporting such errors. In verbose mode it will also tell:
'rubygem-cucumber-foo' not found in package names. Trying 'rubygem-cucumber = foo'.
Hmm, this might be confusing and should be limited to cases where the part after the rightmost dash starts with a numeric character.
