--- Comment #5 from Brian Merrell 2008-06-02 10:18:42 MDT ---
Now that the install has finished, this is what I am seeing:
I reboot successfully in the several cases that I tried (runlevel 3 and 5,
shutdown -r now, or rebooting from GNOME)
When using similar methods to shutdown, the machine never actually powers off.
I get to the very end of the shutdown messages in the console, where it says:
"
The System will be halted immediately.
Master Resource Control: runlevel 0 has been reached
Failed services in runlevel 0: ntp
"
This is odd, because the install wouldn't reboot. Also, I'm not used to seeing
messages after the "The System will be halted immediately" message. For what
it's worth, when booting into runlevel 3, I get a the "runlevel 3 has been
reached" and "failed services in runlevel 3" _after_ my login prompt appears.
Hope this helps.
