I have attempted to initiate compiz for gnome via the control center's desktop effects. I have installed compiz for 11.4 from the SuSE web site. Each time I try to activate desk top effects, I get no errors and no effects. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Install vanilla OS. Try desktop effect activation and usage. install compiz for SuSE 11.4 and try desktop effect activation and usage.
