Hi Breno,
it looks like a bug in Scout. Could you please check the scout rpm version?
Thanks!

The problem is related to another bug with the python interpreter, already
documented at:
http://bugs.python.org/issue3602
There is a patch for the issue listed on this bug:
http://bugs.python.org/file11227/move_catch_warnings.diff
it can be eiter applied to the current python or an updated upstream python
build would be necessary. The patch was applied after 2.6b3, which is precisely
the version present on SLES11. So probably we'll either need to backport this
upstream patch or update the upstream version of python
This issue is breaking up other applications, such as command_not_found.

The issue happens because sles11 has a new feature - if the user types a
command
that doesn't exist, it searches on the package list and suggests commands that
can be installed, very much like ubuntu does. The program that does this is a
python script called /usr/bin/command-not-found.
I also forgot to mention that there's a real bug on the __init__.py file of the
scout module, and there's a simple patch for it
Path:
/usr/lib64/python2.6/site-packages/scout
Patch:
--- __init__.py.orig 2008-09-19 18:19:44.000000000 -0400
+++ __init__.py 2008-09-19 19:04:48.000000000 -0400

+ self._not_imported_modules.append((module_name,
ierr.message))
def __getitem__(self, name):
""" x.__getitem__(y) <==> x[y] """
After you fix that issue, you'll still have a problem when scout tries to
import
the module webpin (/usr/lib64/python2.6/site-packages/scout/webpin.py) and then
the real problem shows up:
devsf2pp-wolf-rhel:/usr/lib64/python2.6/site-packages/scout # python
Python 2.6b3 (r26b3:65922, Sep 16 2008, 17:45:20)

This bug is on the package
devsf2pp-wolf-rhel:/usr/lib64/python2.6/site-packages/scout # rpm -qa | grep
scout
scout-0.1.0-22.2
After you apply the simple patch on scout itself, there is still the problem
mentioned in the previous comment.
