http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1048331 Bug ID: 1048331 Summary: Printer stopped working after update Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.2 Hardware: Other OS: openSUSE 42.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Printing Assignee: jsmeix@suse.com Reporter: jcarricksmith@gmail.com QA Contact: jsmeix@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 732092 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=732092&action=edit Trace output in attempting to resolve printing problem. Between 14th and 26th June 2017 an update caused my Epson SX215 to stop printing. Scanning and SD card reading are still OK. I initiate a print job with the printer connected and switched on and nothing appears on the printer. lpstat -t includes "Waiting for printer to become available." To try to get it working the printer was deleted and recreated more than once from the command line. The printer could not be added using Yast which reported "no connections" even after pressing the "Detect More" button. I created a query:- https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/525790-Epson-printer-stopped-work... where deano_ferrari guided me through the diagnostics. The outputs from these are included in the attached file. Thanks John -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
