Created attachment 732092 [details] Trace output in attempting to resolve printing problem. Between 14th and 26th June 2017 an update caused my Epson SX215 to stop printing. Scanning and SD card reading are still OK. I initiate a print job with the printer connected and switched on and nothing appears on the printer. lpstat -t includes "Waiting for printer to become available." To try to get it working the printer was deleted and recreated more than once from the command line. The printer could not be added using Yast which reported "no connections" even after pressing the "Detect More" button. I created a query:- https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/525790-Epson-printer-stopped-working-after-update where deano_ferrari guided me through the diagnostics. The outputs from these are included in the attached file. Thanks John
