Some thoughts:
When accessibility is enabled, yast hangs after exit() is called at:
http://svn.opensuse.org/svn/yast/trunk/core/liby2/src/genericfrontend.cc
It doesn't happen all the time in my system -- I sometimes have to
restart the system some times -- but then it constantly runs into the
same execution. It seems that libatk-bridge, libspi or Orbit is setting
up an atexit() -- or something equivalent? -- and then they create a
thread and I'm not sure, but it seems both threads call
"Accessibility_Registry_deregisterApplication ()
from /usr/lib/libspi.so.0" which hangs in a pthread_cond_wait().
Regardless of the order of execution of the atexit() callbacks, we
should be able to set it up so that we can apply a kamikaze. :P
A google search indicates this also happens in Eclipse:
http://www.eclipsezone.net/eclipse/forums/t89518.html
Michael: do you have an opinion on this?
With regard to Orca not working as good as it could with the dialogs, I will
post a message at the yast mailing list. There are several integration issues
(like buttons order) that are dependent to the design of the yast framework.
