Created attachment 459799 [details] y2log with NAT when installation stopped mid-install
I can't see why the installation has stopped here, ifconfig reports a happy network and I can connect to the sever by ssh and scp / sftp the failing file. (though sftp exits each time with a "glibc detected - free() invalid pointer 0x454545454..)
May or may not be relevant to the bug in discussion?
Um, yes it could be relevant. At least it shows there is some generic network issue.
From y2log:
2011-11-01 20:02:37 <1> 10.0.2.15(3265) [zypp++] MediaCurl.cc(doGetFileCopyFile):1320 ./suse/x86_64/lirc-remotes-0.8.7-11.5.x86_64.rpm 2011-11-01 20:02:37 <1> 10.0.2.15(3265) [zypp++] MediaCurl.cc(doGetFileCopyFile):1330 URL: ftp://mikado/OSL-12.1-64/suse/x86_64/lirc-remotes-0.8.7-11.5.x86_64.rpm 2011-11-01 20:03:37 <3> 10.0.2.15(3265) [zypp] MediaCurl.cc(doGetFileCopyFile):1394 curl error: 28: Connection time-out, temp file size 0 bytes. So the package could not be downloaded from the server. I guess the problem is somewhere in the VBox emulation as in the NAT mode it works. Closing as WONTFIX as 12.1 is out of support anyway, if you can still reproduce the problem in the latest openSUSE version (42.2-pre or TumbleWeed) then please report again. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
