Hello,
Do you have two ethernet cards ? lspci show only one ethernet and one wireless
card.
In log you provided, your cards work ok. For example:
Aug 19 07:26:28 Berta ifplugd(eth0)[2090]: ifplugd 0.28 initializing.
Aug 19 07:26:28 Berta kernel: eth0: link up, 100Mbps, full-duplex, lpa 0x45E1
Aug 19 07:26:28 Berta ifplugd(eth0)[2090]: Using interface
eth0/00:80:C8:38:38:FF with driver <asix> (version: 14-Jun-2006)
Aug 19 07:26:28 Berta ifplugd(eth0)[2090]: Using detection mode: SIOCETHTOOL
Aug 19 07:26:28 Berta ifplugd(eth0)[2090]: Initialization complete, link beat
detected.
* Here network manager found your ethernet card as eth0.
Aug 19 07:26:30 Berta dhcpcd[2223]: eth0: dhcpcd 3.2.3 starting
* Here DHCP client start on your ethernet card
Aug 19 07:26:31 Berta dhcpcd[2223]: eth0: offered 192.168.178.22 from
192.168.178.1
Aug 19 07:26:31 Berta dhcpcd[2223]: eth0: checking 192.168.178.22 is available
on attached networks
* and here your ethernet card obtain IP address from DHCP server on
192.168.178.1
I think your card works fine. Can you describe why you think it doesn't work ?
Please try "ping 192.168.178.1". If you will see something like this
everythinkg is OK:
64 bytes from 192.168.178.1: icmp_seq=1 ttl=53 time=41.0 ms
Send please also output of this commands:
ip addr
ip route
cat /etc/resolv.conf
Thanks
Maybe if your network doesn't work, you have bad DNS server configured. In
yast2 configure to obtain dns server automaticly (via DHCP).
