The message "RPC: AUTH_GSS upcall timed out." on the server suggests that
rpc.gssd isn't running.
It is needed on the server but not currently started. See bug 845269.
It is up "planned updates" for SLE11-SP3 but is still waiting.
You can start it manually with "/usr/sbin/rpc.gssd".
The
NFS: nfs4_reclaim_open_state: unhandled error -13. Zeroing state
message on the client suggests that the server has reboot, the client is trying
to recover state, and it is getting an error. That error is 'EACCES', so some
permission problem. That could be related to the gssd problems on the server,
I'm not sure.
The processes on the client hanging could be related to rpc.gssd not running on
the server. If that problem continues after rpc.gssd is running, please report
the contents of "/proc/$PID/stack" for some of the hanging processes.
