https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=297605 Summary: Yast fails to detect Software RAID 1 Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.2 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: AutoYaST AssignedTo: ug@novell.com ReportedBy: rainer.kaluscha@uni-ulm.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Due to boot problems I tried to boot from DVD using "Installation -> boot installed system". Root-FS is ext3 on a RAID 1 (md0) consisting of two partions (hda1 and hdb1). Yast offers only both partions (hda1 and hdb1) to boot from, *not* the RAID device. As mounting only one of the partitions read/write may destroy the RAID, this should be fixed. So a check for RAID devices needs to be done before detecting single partitions. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
