--- Comment #14 from Paul Tannington
Regarding comment 2, comment 3, comment 4: gb is part of legacy package. Its path did not change. It is YaST default for British English. gb is a keyboard derived from xkb. It is part of the main package. Does it succeeds if you call "loadkeys gb" in the console? If it does not work, then kbd-1.15.5-loadkeys-search-path.patch was probably not ported correctly.
Just to clarify: it's "uk.map.gz" that fails, "gb.map.gz" is OK. "kbd-legacy" is installed, and with "KEYMAP=uk" in "vconsole.conf" the error in the journal is "systemd-vconsole-setup[224]: cannot open file uk".
From the console "loadkeys uk" appears to work (the command prompt is returned with no errors displayed).
I don't know what originally set "KEYMAP=uk" in "vconsole.conf", changing to "KEYMAP=gb" effectively solves the problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
