--- Comment #16 from Dusan Peterc
Bugzilla is a bugreporting tool, not a tool for political discussions. Discuss this issue on your favorite mailing list/IRC/forum or whereever but please do not use Bugzilla for this purpose. Thanks.
I am trying to configure my graphics card to a native LCD resolution, with 3D acceleration, if possible. I am able to install and configure binary Nvidia driver (on compatible versions of kernel/nvidia), but my customers are not. So I am trying to suggest ways to make it easier. Some of which SUSE has used in the past. I do not know where do you see politics in that. Compare these two pages: http://en.opensuse.org/NVIDIA http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/nvidia Ubuntu is as hostile to binary drivers as the new Suse (or Novel, whatever). But customer comes first, and Ubuntu makes it easy, so a complete beginner can do it. You choose to ignore customers' needs for the sake of politics. Thank you four your time, and for making a hard decision easier. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
