http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=553020 Summary: Firefox 3.5.4, Preferences Dialog, Main tab, shows wrong Download Folder Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: RC 2 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Firefox AssignedTo: bnc-team-mozilla@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: koen@phpcrm.nl QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=325846) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=325846) Screenshot of the firefox preferences dialog showing download location User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.4) Gecko/20091016 SUSE/3.5.4-1.1.2 Firefox/3.5.4 When opening the Firefox Preferences Dialog, Main Tab, it shows that Firefox default "Save files to" is set to the non-existing folder: "/home/myname/Downloads/" Thats wrong because the Downloads will be saved to "/home/myname/Download" without the "s" on the end. When trying to change the setting "Save files to" to the "Download" directory in home, it still shows that the folder is named "Downloads". When downloading something from the internet, the files will be put in the folder "/home/myname/Download", while the preferences dialog shows that the folder is named "Downloads" with the "s" on the end. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Preferences Dialog 2. Change the setting "Save file to:" to /home/myname/Download" with Browse button 3. Choose "Download" Folder, click "OK" button, and the wrong path is showing up. rpm -q MozillaFirefox MozillaFirefox-3.5.4-1.1.2.x86_64 -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
