https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=345340 Summary: setting up ntp using yast2 is confusing Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: zadeck@naturalbridge.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- yast2->network services->ntp configuration provides a panel to set up an ntp server. However nowhere on this panel does it say that doing this will be not be effective unless you go to "yast2->system->time and data->change" and click the "synchronize with ntp server" bit there. This is not obvious or user friendly. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
