https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=810594 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=810594#c0 Summary: GNOME display settings do not handle refresh rates Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: ohering@suse.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: Outsourced Testing Blocker: --- 12.3 with GNOME desktop. I have a CRT from LG, model 702BE. With GNOME I can change display resolution with the control panel. The pull downmenu offers only dimensions, but not refresh rates. For example 1024x768 could be done with 85Hz or 75Hz, but instead 60hz is selected. 1152x864 is handled with 75Hz. In KDE it is possible to choose dimensions and refresh rates. I prefer 1024x768@85Hz, but GNOME is not able to set this mode. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
