Since xen networking works in the VM if the bridge is not running , we just
need to find which upper layer networking script is failing.
A few more questions:
1) After doing 'network-bridge stop', if you do 'network-bridge start', does
the network continue to work or does it stop?
2) Boot the vm as normal. After it comes up,
A) What is the output of 'ifconfig'?
B) What is the output of 'ip route'?
3) Edit the /etc/xen/scripts/network-bridge script and insert:
set -x
at about line 54 right before the line dir=$(dirname "$0").
A) Do: #/etc/xen/scripts/network-bridge stop
B) Do: #/etc/xen/scripts/network-bridge start
C) Capture the output of the above 'network-bridge start' and attach it to
the bug. This will tell us what is going on when the xen bridging stuff starts
up.
