Hi,
I've just started having this issue (or something like it) after doing a
factory update (to 11.1 beta 3+) yesterday.
libgnomesu-1.0.0-295.17 is currently installed.
Trying to open YaST (from a user account) asks for the root password and then
goes silent.
Elevating to root in a console throws ' can not open display' errors.
(e.g.
OSU111b:~ # nautilus &
[1] 6054
OSU111b:~ # No protocol specified
Cannot open display:
Run 'nautilus --help' to see a full list of available command line options.
[1]+ Exit 1 nautilus
OSU111b:~ # yast2 &
[1] 6055
OSU111b:~ # No protocol specified
(y2controlcenter-gnome:6075): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0.0
[1]+ Exit 1 yast2
)
Any idea if this is related?
Thanks,
Wj
