Suspend to RAM does not work either. In some of the earlier 13.1 releases it
worked.
After a suspend to RAM the network LEDs are turned off, so the magic packet
cannot be received.
It looks like a script shutsdown the network interface when powering off or
going to suspend.
I removed /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/50rcnetwork, but it didn't work. After a
manual wake up ethtool reported "Wake-on: d", so it is disabled after suspend.
So I did a "/etc/init.d/network restart-all-dhcp-clients" and it turned back to
"Wake-on: g". I' m not using DHCP, so why does "/etc/init.d/network
restart-all-dhcp-clients" enables WoL on my network interface? The function is
triggered by 50rcnetwork.
My network card is a r8169, but I don't think the WoL problem is related to my
network card.
