Hi!
So now after booting the computer, i tried to play music, and it was muted. The
funny thing is, i looked at the alsamixer -c0 output, and it showed the
headphones were plugged in, even though they weren't.
So i looked at the sound settings, and there are two options for playing sound
in the little bracket in output: Analog output - built-in audio, and Speakers -
built-in audio. And looking at these two options, i could see that while
playing music, and being muted, the options showed the Analog output was
picked. Then i plugged in the headphones, and it switched automatically to
'speakers', but changed the icon to headphones. But it did not use Analog
output. And then when i unplugged the headphones, the output chosen remained at
'Speakers - built-in device' , playing music properly via the speakers.
So, it automatically chooses analog output, showing headphones are on, and then
changes to speakers when plugging in.
