On the other hand, perhaps it's just a bug in /etc/rc.status: shouldn't use
/dev/stderr. As a test I ran:
thuis@robinia:~> echo 'echo hi there err > /dev/stderr; echo anybody home out >
/dev/stdout ; echo who 2 >&2 ; echo why 1' | at 23:58
warning: commands will be executed using /bin/sh
job 4 at 2011-11-07 23:58
