http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1044223 Bug ID: 1044223 Summary: openvpn does not start (/run/openvpn/ is not created) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network Assignee: nirmoy.das@suse.com Reporter: jslaby@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de CC: mt@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- After update to 2.4.2, I cannot start openvpn: systemd[1]: Starting OpenVPN tunneling daemon instance using /etc/openvpn/SUSE.conf... openvpn[4543]: Options error: --writepid fails with '/run/openvpn/SUSE.pid': No such file or directory openvpn[4543]: Options error: Please correct these errors. /run/openvpn/ is not created. I guess due to move of tmpfiles.d from /usr/lib to /usr/lib64. Why was it moved? Has anybody tested the package at all? If so, why am I seeing the error and you don't? Manually creating the dir makes it work again. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
