It does not seem to matter which package or which CD is requested. For example, in the pop up window we see Insert 'openSuse 10.3 CD1' once the CD is inserted hit RETRY. Nothing happens. enable "details" we see Failed to mount cd:///? devices =/dev/Sr0 on Mounting Media Failed If you press skip enough times the program will start some type of installation action.
