How's that an rpm problem? Please use zypp-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com
for zypp questions.
But by chance I know the answer anyway: you must only use one ':' in the
supplements and use URL encoding for the other ones. Thus change the
supplements to:
Supplements:
modalias(x86cpu:vendor%3A0000%3Afamily%3A*%3Amodel%3A*%3Afeature%3A*)
(This assumes that
find /sys -name modalias -print0 | xargs -0 cat | grep x86cpu
outputs some matching entry)
As for the "obsoleted by installed kernel-desktop" error: that's probably
because the kernel is marked as "multiversion" package, i.e. it gets installed
with 'rpm -i' instead of 'rpm -U'. 'rpm -i' does not erase obsoleted packages.
(That's not entirely true for new rpm/zypp versions, which *will* consider
obsoletes and deinstall packages, though.)
