a chromium crash is a chromium bug - not a gnome bug
X - session is readily available; wayland is not mandatory (yet) unless people want to start caring for security models as introduced with flatpak
The crasher is in gtk3 code, gtk3 is maintained by gnome. X session might be available but you changed default to wayland. All my machines after update now login to wayland by default without any interaction on my side. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
