http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=579452 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=579452#c0 Summary: sqlite3 missing support for loadable extensions Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: roger@atchoo.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-GB; rv:1.9.1.7) Gecko/20091222 SUSE/3.5.7-1.1.1 Firefox/3.5.7 Since version 3.3.7, sqlite has had support for loadable extensions. These can be used to, for example, provide an implementation for the REGEXP() call. It would be useful if this functionality could be enabled in the openSUSE builds. This is a very simple fix that simply requires "--enable-load-extension" to be appended to the configure call. It is worth noting that even with this functionality compiled in, a program using sqlite must still explicitly enable extension loading before being able to do so. See the enable_load_extension() and load_extension() calls. http://www.sqlite.org/c3ref/enable_load_extension.html http://www.sqlite.org/c3ref/load_extension.html Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
