https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=217551 Summary: non-working network after selecting network manager instead of ifup Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Beta 1 plus Platform: PowerPC OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: yast2-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: olh@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de 10.2b1+ on crowberry.suse.de nfs install from dist, all patterns and all languages selected, vnc+ssh. I selected network manager instead of ifup in yast. yast told me (in red) that a new network interface was added to the firewall. After configuring everything, the system booted. But the network interface eth0 had only an ipv6 address. The internal eth1 was appearently the default now. After reboot, none of the 2 interfaces has an IP assigned. So what is this bug all about? I dont know yet, it seems network manager just doesnt work. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
