https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=444578 Summary: bluez - browse failure ... Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: mmeeks@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I managed to pair and browse my phone nicely with the latest bluez etc. packages from factory. Unfortunately, having launched totem to try to (unsuccessfully) play a .amr file - and having shut down totem, I now can't browse the phone in nautilus any more: "Could not display "obex://[00:0E:ED:00:64:20]/". Error: Connecting to remote device failed Please select another viewer and try again." There was a more interesting error about someone else using the device concurrently but that seems to have gone now (urgh). With a killall -9 obex-data-server I can browse the device again, and now I get a better error: "Could not display "obex://[00:0E:ED:00:64:20]/Gallery/Graphics". Error: Another operation in progress Please select another viewer and try again." Is it really the case that we cannot multiplex access to a remote device via bluetooth ? Or - is it the case that (somehow) some protection here is leaking state - neither daemon (gvfs or objex) looks like an operation is progress - perhaps some counter is simply not reset correctly as/when this occurs ? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
