(seife's hipernate scripts set the current kernel to be booted after the resume.) There's a patch in the current yaboot devel-tree, which supports a boot-once functionality via a nvram variable. I included part of this patch in our yaboot source. I will change it a bit and test it some more. And as well add a "-R" parameter to lilo to set this variable in a x86 lilo like way.
