Obviously, a recent upgrade "zypper dup" removed the bundle packages, that's why suddenly. There is no longer any bundle package available in the repository.
Again, they have been dropped on purpose. And they were not available in Leap anymore since years. I think the last openSUSE release that had them was 13.1.
So, install systemsettings5-lang and you should be able to select other languages in systemsettings5.
Indeed that made other languages available in systemsettings. Still wondering if kmail will show Dutch translated messages.
Sure, if you install kmail-lang and probably others.
Or even better, run "zypper inr" to install all recommended packages, that would also include all translations (which are now only available in xxx-lang packages).
zypper inr did nothing.
That's strange. The KDE packages all do recommend the translattions. That can be satifisfied by either a bundle-lang-kde-xx or the corresponding xxx-lang package. As bundle-lang-kde doesn't exist anymore, "zypper inr" should install the -lang packages. No idea what went wrong there, but it's definitely not a bug in the KDE packages. I needed to install other xxx-lang packages as well, in order to get Dutch translations in kmail and other applications. These used to be installed with the tick in the list of languages when using YaST software and selecting the Languages tab AFAIK.
As there are no separate language packages anymore, the languages tab in YaST won't be able to install them either. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
