https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=345458 Summary: "yast lan" ignores files with "::" in /etc/sysconfig/network/providers/ Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: i386 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: gp@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Product Management To set up my UMTS card (with a hand crafted config file provided by Seife) I copied said config file to /etc/sysconfig/network/providers/ When using a name such as network::providers::vodafone, "yast lan" would not find this provider. Once I renamed it to just "vodafone" this worked just fine. (I checked the YaST logs and did not find anything useful about this, so I refrain from attaching it. Probably a regexp somewhere that needs fixing? ":" is a valid character for UNIX filenames.) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
