My concern is simply that I've not added HISTTIMEFORMAT to aaa_base of 11.4
but to aaa_base of factory. Maybe any other had added this change or
the update repositories you're using do include the factory URL.
The main problem that if HISTTIMEFORMAT is used the set time stamps are
done as seconds since 1970/01/01 00:00:00 UTC at the `guessed' birth of
UNIX[tm]. This is the design of the upstream bash and I'd like not change
this upstream behaviour.
Without HISTTIMEFORMAT there will be no time stamps in ~/.bash_history
even not in your prefered time format. With HISTTIMEFORMAT set the
time stamps are unique due the used format and anyone can use his
own format to read the time stamps in his prefered format (remember
the US format YYYY.DD.MM in comparision to POSIX YYYY.MM.DD)
