https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=208908 Summary: /etc/YaST2/eula.txt leftover from 10.0 after upgrade to 10.1, wrong permissions Product: SUSE Linux 10.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Update Problems AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: suse-beta@cboltz.de QAContact: jsrain@novell.com I just noticed that /etc/YaST2/eula.txt on my machine still contains the EULA for SUSE Linux 10.0. I had 10.0 installed before (which probably installed eula.txt also, timestamp in oct. 2005 confirms this) and then updated to 10.1. Sidenote: eula.txt has the x bits set - but isn't a script. Please fix the permissions also. # ls -l /etc/YaST2/eula.txt -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 12514 2005-10-18 15:03 /etc/YaST2/eula.txt Please ask if you need more information - I'm not sure what would be helpful here. (If this file is no longer needed, I'd recommend to delete it when updating to 10.2.) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
