Do you think it makes any difference wether I manually enable it or you add it
to the preset?
If I understand that right, the first thing that must happen is loading the
qla2xxx module in order to provide the system with the attached FC disks
(either already in initrd phase or later). If the FC devices show up, systemd
(or together with udev and/or multipathd.service) has to load the device mapper
kernel stuff and setup the devices. Finally the fstab entry with the dm disk is
mounted by the local-fs.target job. But therefor, systemd needs to know/detect,
that /dev/dm-X requires a fully initialized device mapper and ceate a
dependency for that.
I was googling a bit, but I didn't find anybody out there with similar issues
also on other distributions. The only thing I found was issues with crypted
devices on LVM volumes.
