Hi Mike,
We have a special repository where we have applications that are either based
on Qt or on KDE. This repository is KDE:Extra.
As that charm is just an Qt-based application I don't see the need for a
separate repo. You can create your package in your home project and then submit
it to KDE:Extra once it builds. We can then give you the maintainership for the
application.
The only possible downside would be that we do not accept git-snapshots,
alpha's and beta's in KDE:Extra. I am not sure what status Charm has, but if
there is a released tarball that you want to build, then KDE:Extra is correct.
Otherwise it should be KDE:Unstable:Playground where we have more packages
based on git-snapshots, etc.
In case you feel that Charm is mature and stable enough, you could ask on the
opensuse-kde mailinglist if the package can be accepted in KDE:Extra.
If you have IRC, then feel free to join us in the #opensuse-kde irc channel on
freenode.
