*** Bug 1184543 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
After installation (not GNOME Live) it seems I could not log in (there was no error message, just the GNOME login reappeared after having entered use and password), when in fact wayland had crashed (AMD Ryzen 4700 in a Lenovo E15 2nd gen). I managed to log in using the setting "GNOME with X11".
There should be some useful indication to the user if wayland crashed. Maybe wayland just isn't ready for the users.
And this is now with or without the fix i.e an updated xorg-x11-server-wayland package? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
