There are two intersecting issues here that are causing you problems.
The first is "root_squash". This the default but it is a really silly default.
It provides an illusion of extra security but it is almost completely
illusion. If someone gets root access to your client it isn't very many steps
to seriously compromising your server, with or without this setting. I would
recommend using "no_root_squash" always. Not doing so is just an
inconvenience.
The second is that the intended model for NFSv4 usage is simply to mount the
root filesystem from the server onto the client, then browse to where-ever you
want to go. Mounting individual bits works but is clumsy.
Why don't you want to just mount /home2 on /home2 ?? Surely that is a lot
easier and completely avoids the problem.
