While displaying this message sources are added and synced between yast and zmd. To keep anything consistent we want to make sure the sync completes properly. If one aborts that operation - what should be done with the sources - leave inconsistent, remove them, bother the user with questions, do other magic? You can abort the registration process at any time you want - even while it is communicating with the server. IMHO it should be ok to wait a few seconds in this single case.
