https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=304766 Summary: dependencies for apparmorapplet-gnome Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Beta 2 Platform: i386 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: AppArmor AssignedTo: dreynolds@novell.com ReportedBy: jjaeger@novell.com QAContact: dreynolds@novell.com Found By: Documentation .. just for the fun of it, I tried whether apparmorapplet-gnome also runs under a KDE environment. (I know that it probably wasn't designed to be running there, but as some of the KDE/GNOME applets can run on the other desktop, I considered it worth a try). Here's what I got when calling the applet: (apparmorapplet:19219): Gnome-WARNING **: Accessibility: failed to find module 'libgail-gnome' which is needed to make this application accessible (apparmorapplet:19219): Gnome-WARNING **: Accessibility: failed to find module 'libatk-bridge' which is needed to make this application accessible so, when the applet package requires these, why doesn't it pull them anyway? After installing at_spi and libgail-gnome, I still wasn't able to get anywhere: (apparmorapplet:19832): atk-bridge-WARNING **: AT_SPI_REGISTRY was not started at session startup. (apparmorapplet:19832): atk-bridge-WARNING **: IOR not set. (apparmorapplet:19832): atk-bridge-WARNING **: Could not locate registry Wouldn't it be nice to have the applet run on both environments in one of the next version? Or is there a KDE port of it in the works? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
