https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=288701 Summary: can't change vertical refresh rate via sax2 for matrox G550 / Nokia 446Xpro Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: SaX2 AssignedTo: ms@novell.com ReportedBy: wefing@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Upon configuring X11 via yast2:hardware:graphics card and monitor I cannot change the vertical refresh rate: it's always 75Hz (horizontal sync frequency = 80 kHz) even if I manually increase the vertical sync frequency of the monitor. For me, 75Hz is the lower limit: I used to have refresh rates of 85-90 Hz under SuSE 10.0 and SuSE 9.2 using the same hardware. The max. horizontal sync frequency of the monitor is 107 kHz, the max. vertical sync frequency is 150 Hz. Under Windows, the vertical refresh rate is 85 Hz for the same hardware. The hardware is correctly detected by sax2. The frequency ranges quoted by sax2 for the monitor are equal to the values given in the monitor manual. I use a resolution of 1280x1024 pixels with a depth of 24bit per pixel. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
