Ok, now I'm on my 11.1 test partition, gnome, and it hasn't crashed! :-)
I started and xterm with 'top', another tailing /var/log/messages, gkrelmn, and
then hands-off watching for beagle activity. It did not crash, but I saw this:
Feb 3 21:01:52 minas-morgul kernel: REISERFS warning (device hdd14): jdm-20002
reiserfs_xattr_get: Invalid hash for xattr (user.Beagle) associated with
[1919251317 1634026030 0x656c67 UNKNOWN]
Feb 3 21:01:57 minas-morgul kernel: REISERFS warning (device hdd14): jdm-20002
reiserfs_xattr_get: Invalid hash for xattr (user.Beagle) associated with

Is that interesting enough? >;-)

I'll send the minicom log when I return to 11.0 later this night. I expect to
remain in this test partition (11.1) for some hours, to see what happens.
