http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1047344 Bug ID: 1047344 Summary: SDDM openSUSE Theme -- if more than 7 users are defined, the user list for login is not displayed Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE 42.2 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Release Notes Assignee: sknorr@suse.com Reporter: bugrprt21882@online.de QA Contact: lnussel@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- If the system has more than 7 users, the left-right scrollable SDDM list of users usually displayed by the SDDM openSUSE Theme, is not displayed -- not even a text list of names without any avatars. The Username has to be entered without any help from the list (usually with avatars) which is normally displayed. -------------------------------------------------------------- The issue seems to be caused by the SDDM "add-threshold-to-disable-avatars.patch" which has introduced the "DisableAvatarsThreshold" [Theme] parameter -- it hasn't yet been documented in the "sddm.conf" man page but, if DisableAvatarsThreshold=<Number greater than the number of users> is included in the [Theme] section of "/etc/sddm.conf" the issue disappears. -------------------------------------------------------------- Looking at the SDDM patch, the default value of "DisableAvatarsThreshold" is '7'. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
