Making novfs work as a FUSE module would bring it down to userspace level. That
is, users could mount their drives using novell commands, and there wouldn't
need to be a root mounted novfs module. This offers many advantages:
1) if the novfs module does something weird, it will be per user, and would
only need to be unloaded from the particular user, eliminating the need for a
reboot
2) it would eliminate the need of symlinking paths to
/var/opt/novell/nclmnt/username/SERVER/SHARE, the permissions/ownership issue
3) you could use gvfs for GNOME and KIO for KDE to manage the mounted file
system links
